Lenten Journeys

How is it possible to live our lives with all the same appointments, meetings, worries, and the same dishes to be cleaned again, and yet also make this Lent a special time? How do we focus on simplifying our lives enough to hear God calling to us in covenant?

Living in the moment and also leaning to the future, we are invited into to dance in time and space and connect our souls to the eternal. We are invited to catch moments, to see glimpses, of something greater, an echo of the rhythm of the universe that connects us all. Rainbows of hope arch across the skies and then disappear in the clouds, and we wait again for another season to turn. We shift our space in the hopes that we will know better how our movement affects the others in the dance, that we will stop stepping on toes and even shutting out other dancers and instead will bring the old and the new together out of the storehouse and into the light.
